Benefit Informatics and Eldorado Computing collaborate to offer an integrated health plan management solution

Competition and cost control initiatives are forcing health plan payers to move beyond being “claims payers” and position themselves as plan resource providers that meet the individual needs of each customer.

Eldorado Computing, Inc., a leading provider of health benefit and claims management platforms, and Benefit Informatics, an industry leading data integration, analysis and reporting solution provider, announced a new distribution agreement to offer joint customers seamless integration of services. Eldorado customers will be able integrate Benefit Informatics’ proprietary Data Analysis and Reporting applications into their operations to provide clients, brokers, consultants and other partners timely access to healthcare claim and utilization information.

“Eldorado is one of the premier healthcare claims and benefit management providers. We already have several customers in common and a very positive working relationship,” said Philip Kurtz, President and CEO of Benefit Informatics. “This new formal agreement we have established will allow current and future TPA customers of Eldorado to gain access to our online analysis and reporting solutions through a seamless integration of data between our two companies.”

Tom Castleberry, Vice Chairman of Eldorado, stated, “Benefit Informatics offers a unique data analysis and reporting solution that is both easy to use and robust enough to allow almost any user to access valuable information. Their online tools give our customers additional resources which complement our existing reporting solutions. We are very pleased to offer our current and future customers an integrated solution that helps in controlling healthcare costs and better managing health plans.”
