The American Society of Transplantation (AST) presents Transplantation: The Year in Review, Oct. 24-25, 2009 in Houston, Texas. The meeting features a review of the most recent developments in the field of organ transplantation from May 2008 up to and including the 2009 American Transplant Congress (ATC) that was held in May in Boston. The meeting will emphasize topical basic and clinical science lectures, organ-specific literature reviews and highlights from ATC.
A Meeting for All Transplantation Professionals
Transplantation: The Year in Review is designed to benefit the entire transplant team. The two and a half-day weekend meeting format is convenient and highlights information that is key to professional development.
Program highlights include: Clinical Transplantation and Basic Science: 2008-2009 Literature Review and ATC Highlights; Highlights of ATC Symposia; New Immunosuppressive Drugs in the Pipeline; Top ATC Posters; Public Policy Update; Liver/Intestine Select ATC Oral Presentations; Cardiothoracic: Select ATC Oral Presentations; and, Kidney/Pancreas Select ATC Oral Presentations.
Upon completion of the meeting, participants will be able to:
