Cifra healthcare platform from Wound Management Technologies

Wound Management Technologies, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: WNDM) a rapidly growing provider of specialty medical products, announced today that its subsidiary Wound Care Innovations, LLC has launched the Cifra(TM) healthcare platform to securely exchange and store information for ongoing evidence based case studies on its patented collagen CellerateRx® products in managing all types of wound care.

Cathy Bradshaw, president of Wound Care Innovations, said, "We are working with physicians and healthcare specialists who are treating thousands of patients every day for various types of skin wounds. As part of that activity, we are compiling evidence based studies confirming the effectiveness of our patented collagen CellerateRx® products. The Cifra platform is a vital tool in providing secure messaging and document delivery. Also of importance is its ability to provide both secure storage and backup. This outstanding level of security means that participants can collaborate and work together while maintaining stringent HIPAA mandated compliance and patient confidentiality."

Wound Management Technologies CEO, Scott Haire said, "Although Wound Care Innovations will initially use Cifra within our own organization and physician community, we also have the rights to license the Cifra platform to vendors, partners and other health care community associates. In the next phase of implementation, Cifra will introduce the Secure eHealth System Tray Notifier(TM), which will add the capability to send secure notification alerts to enrolled users. With this additional function, we will ensure a truly secure medical community for all participants."
