Authentidate Holding Corp. (Nasdaq: ADAT), a worldwide provider of secure Health Information Exchange and workflow management services, has introduced an interface that allows Inscrybe® Healthcare to be easily integrated with one of the homecare industry's leading information systems, Definitive Homecare Solutions' CPR+(TM).
Inscrybe Healthcare will be included in the CPR+ Integrated Solutions Provider program, a program designed to integrate homecare solutions from industry leading solutions, like Inscrybe Healthcare with CPR+.
By interfacing Inscrybe Healthcare with CPR+, the streamlined workflows further improve the efficiency of clinical and administrative processes, reducing costs of transaction processing, while reinforcing best practices and compliance for users.
"Inscrybe has a great track record of reducing document approval cycles and unbilled revenues for its customers," said R. Michael Clark, Director of Operations at Definitive Homecare Solutions. "The Inscrybe interface further enhances the ability of CPR+ to improve efficiencies by offering Inscrybe's ability to enhance electronic workflow processes, reduce our customers' overhead and improve their bottom lines."
Authentidate will be exhibiting Inscrybe Healthcare as well as speaking at the CPR+ User Conference, November 6-8, 2009 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
"We are pleased to offer Inscrybe Healthcare side-by-side with CPR+ ," explained Paul Skinner, Vice President, Sales & Client Service at Authentidate. "CPR+ is a powerful solution to manage HME and home infusion provider operations. Inscrybe Healthcare extends the reach of that system by facilitating the exchange of critical information between providers and referring physicians."
Inscrybe Healthcare facilitates information exchanges with referring physicians for all types of healthcare transactions and care documentation required for the authorization of care services, medical equipment and supplies for patients. The web-based service automates manual workflow processes, reduces errors and effectively tracks the status of those communications, reducing the approval cycle time from referring physicians.
Physicians decide whether to review and sign documentation on the secure Inscrybe Healthcare community web portal or receive and send documents by facsimile. This flexibility enhances communications between referring physicians and providers because each can do business the way they prefer. Electronic or fax replies are linked to the initial request and updated on all systems automatically. As a web-based platform, Inscrybe is inherently scalable and easy to implement, providing for business expansion at minimal cost.
