Charlie DuBois named Dynamic Chiropractic’s 2009 Person of the Year

Charlie DuBois, president of whole food supplement manufacturer Standard Process, has been named Dynamic Chiropractic’s 2009 Person of the Year. Featured in the December 16, 2009 edition of Dynamic Chiropractic magazine, DuBois was selected because of the commitment and support that he has shown the chiropractic profession.

“What Charlie DuBois is doing for our profession is very exciting and greatly appreciated. But what really impresses me the most is his heart for promoting chiropractic”

“What Charlie DuBois is doing for our profession is very exciting and greatly appreciated. But what really impresses me the most is his heart for promoting chiropractic,” said Don Peterson, Jr., publisher and president of Dynamic Chiropractic/MPA Media.

Through Standard Process, DuBois has given more than $3 million to the chiropractic profession in 2009. He also serves as a board member for several chiropractic organizations including the Foundation for Chiropractic Progress, a non-profit group that promotes the benefits of chiropractic to the public. Peterson cited DuBois’ recent work on the “Watch My Back” campaign, a call-to-action campaign developed to ensure that chiropractic care is part of the upcoming health care reform, as a demonstration of DuBois’ efforts to put significant resources, including time and money, to continuously support the chiropractic profession.

“This is truly an unexpected honor. I believe that the combined power of chiropractic and nutritional supplements is vital to helping us all achieve and maintain healthier lives and is a key solution to our country’s growing health care concerns,” said DuBois. “We need to do all we can to ensure that both industries thrive during this very uncertain time in our nation’s health care history.”

This is the 24th consecutive year that Dynamic Chiropractic has recognized excellence in chiropractic with its Person of the Year award. DuBois joins a list of recipients who have been selected for their commitment to advancing the chiropractic profession.
