PracticeMatch Services launches PhysicianRPO

PracticeMatch Services, LLC announces the launch of PhysicianRPO, a new service for healthcare systems needing to hire at least 60 physicians or advanced practitioners over a 3-year period. "We will help these new clients by setting up and running an effective recruiting program to meet their short- and long-term needs," says Charlie Holland, President of PracticeMatch Services.

This new service is based on a 5-year beta model initiated by Fallon Clinic, a large multispecialty clinic in central Massachusetts. Fallon Clinic's goal was to gain more reliability and cost reduction and eliminate the use of recruiting firms. The PhysicianRPO model developed into a highly effective recruitment process that yielded results, including a 40% cost reduction and a 44% increase in the number of hired physicians per year. The overall effect resulted in significant reductions in Fallon Clinic's recruiting budget.

The PhysicianRPO service is a viable option for healthcare systems that are:

  • Interested in developing an in-house physician recruiting department, or
  • Interested in ending their dependence on traditional retained or contingent firms

The PhysicianRPO model will provide senior management with:

  • High-quality hires that are guaranteed
  • Predictable and manageable recruitment processes
  • Regular progress and status reports
  • Demonstrable ROI
