  • Healthcare organizations can reduce nursing overtime and agency expenses through real-time labor data made available through Kronos’ integrated workforce management solutions. For example, identification of root causes that were driving increased labor costs helped Cleveland Clinic reduce nursing agency expenses by more than $5 million. In addition, Southwest General Hospital saved $10 million in annual staffing costs with Kronos; Virginia Commonwealth University Medical Center saved millions through reduced supplemental labor costs and decreased overtime; and Martin Memorial Health Systems saved $600,000 in overtime costs within just one year of using Kronos.
  • With more than 3,000 hospitals worldwide using a mix of solutions from the Kronos for Healthcare suite, the scheduling solution alone has more than 600 healthcare customers, and it continues to gain steady momentum. Customers create balanced and fair schedules in minutes instead of hours. Kronos also creates a culture of accountability in staffing by offering employees advanced self-service options. As staffing and clinical outcomes are intricately linked, perceived staffing equity is a major criterion for achieving Magnet status. Kronos customers among the elite group of Magnet-designated facilities include Abington Memorial Hospital, Poudre Valley Health System, University Health Care System (Georgia), and Virginia Commonwealth University Medical Center.
