JAOtech opens new U.S. headquarters in Trumbull, Connecticut

JAOtech Ltd. has announced the opening of its U.S. headquarters in Trumbull, Connecticut. The facility serves as JAOtech’s sales, marketing and technical support centre for the United States and Canada. JAOtech Corporation, the company’s wholly owned U.S. subsidiary, has an installed base of more than 13,000 terminals in North America.

JAOtech CEO Warren Kressinger-Dunn stated, “The United States represents our largest and fastest growing market opportunity as healthcare providers recognise the potential for an attractive return on investment as well as efficiency savings through patient multimedia entertainment and clinical access solutions. Our Connecticut based team has significant experience in the U.S. healthcare sector and is working closely with our partners to deliver solutions that address the specific needs of healthcare providers.”

The office is led by John Jensen, Chairman, who has more than 40 years of overall business and management experience including more than eight years focussing on delivering tailored computing solutions to the U.S. healthcare market. JAOtech’s business development team is led by Ian Davison, Vice President and Rich Purcell, Sales Manager. The customer support group at JAOtech Corporation is managed by Joe Douaihy, Operations Director.

The new U.S. location is one of four offices globally from which JAOtech manages its business with global headquarters located just outside London, United Kingdom.

JAOtech’s success to date is attributable to its ability to deliver space and energy efficient embedded medical computers by the bedside in a broad number of applications from electronic medical records to patient education/entertainment. Its products are used by healthcare clinicians, administrators and patients alike.
