The Colorado BioScience Association (CBSA) is hosting its second annual Career and Resource Fair Wednesday, April 28, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds. The event will bring together students and job seekers looking to learn more about bioscience industry employment and training opportunities in the state. The announcement is made by Denise Brown, CBSA Interim Executive Director, who says the fair is being held in response to company growth and workforce demands in Colorado's bioscience industry.
"Colorado's bioscience cluster continues to grow and develop, bringing additional job opportunities to the state. The industry is a desirable one in which to work, due mainly to its focus on creating life saving therapies and devices and providing meaningful career paths. We believe our Career and Resource Fair will help provide those with an interest in the industry more background information and possibly open doors to a new career," Brown explains.
Companies attending the fair are seeking to fill internship and full-time positions in a variety of functional areas including research & development and business development.
