Healthagen® - U.S. developer of the iTriage® consumer healthcare platform, today announced an international agreement with Asklepios - the largest privately-held hospital system operating in Germany. Asklepios and Healthagen partnered to private label Healthagen's content, and decision support software, introducing Meine Klinik - a German language consumer-based medical technology.
“The need for healthcare information has no borders. As we expand our capabilities to deliver this information in different languages and countries, patients will benefit by having healthcare information at their fingertips through co-branded solutions with strong partners like Asklepios”
German and European consumers can download Meine Klinik for their iPhone® or access a mobile browser site on smartphones. Healthcare providers are finding more educated healthcare consumers searching for action-oriented information like that provided by iTriage and Meine Klinik.
iTriage's mobile healthcare information model has worldwide appeal, even for countries like Germany with nationalized healthcare. iTriage has been well received by consumers and recently climbed to #3 in the iTunes App Store and remains in the top healthcare/fitness apps in over 50 countries.
"The need for healthcare information has no borders. As we expand our capabilities to deliver this information in different languages and countries, patients will benefit by having healthcare information at their fingertips through co-branded solutions with strong partners like Asklepios," explained Peter Hudson, M.D., CEO, Healthagen. "This also demonstrates the breadth and scope of the core iTriage content and functionality, as well as the ability to tailor its use for specific populations."
Built by emergency room physicians, iTriage and Meine Klinik aggregate healthcare information in a structured and actionable way; thus closing the information gap between patients and healthcare providers.
