American Specialty Health Incorporated (ASH), a national health and wellness organization, won six awards and two honorable mentions in the international Hermes Awards competition for creative professionals involved in the concept, writing, and design of traditional and emerging media. Hermes Creative Awards recognize outstanding work in the industry while promoting the philanthropic nature of marketing and communication professionals.
ASH received Platinum awards for its How to Build a Fit Company® guidebook, "Stepping It Up" 2008 Year in Review brochure, and FitnessCoach.com website. The company also received Gold awards for its internal year-in-review Flash presentation, its Stress Management Guide, and "Why Wellness Sells Itself" article (California Broker, October, 2009). Honorable mentions were awarded to ASH for its FitnessCoach.com web-based training and for its company-wide "Watch It" Challenge promotional materials.
There were over 3,600 entries from throughout the United States and several other countries in the Hermes Creative Awards 2010 competition. Entries came from corporate marketing and communication departments, advertising agencies, PR firms, design shops, production companies, and freelancers. About 18 percent of the entries won the Platinum Award, the organization's top honor.
Hermes Creative Awards is administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals. The international organization consists of several thousand marketing, communication, advertising, public relations, media production, and free-lance professionals. AMCP oversees awards and recognition programs, provides judges, and rewards outstanding achievement and service to the profession.
