Konica Minolta Sensing Americas, Inc. (KMSA), the worldwide leader in the industrial measurement of color, light and shape, announces its 3D laser scanning open house and medical device workshop July 28, 2010 to be held in its state of the art 3D scanning lab in Ramsey, NJ.
KMSA, a long time innovator of 3D non contact scanners used for measuring the three-dimensional shape of objects, will be hosting a 2 part open house featuring a general session in the morning hours focusing on how designers, engineers and quality control personnel in industries such as automotive, plastic, machine shops, toy manufacturing and foundries can use 3D scanning.
The afternoon session is for medical device companies with a focus on designers, engineers and quality control personnel who are interested in seeing how 3D scanning can improve their manufacturing process as well as reduce design, rapid prototyping or reverse engineering time for their products.
