Vigilan named on Inc. 5000 list of America's fastest-growing private companies

Today Inc. Magazine recognized Vigilan, provider of software for better senior living, on the Inc. 5000 list for the third consecutive year.  This year, Vigilan ranks No. 2849 on this exclusive list of America's fastest-growing private companies, with revenue of $3.6 million and a three-year sales growth of 77 percent.

Vigilan is known for its Care Suite, that manages resident care, communication, staffing, marketing, medication management, billing, training and education tracking, and interfaces to the most popular accounting systems. Most recently, Vigilan announced that Care Suite is now compatible with the new Apple iPad™, bringing this award-winning operational management software to the point of care.

"The leaders of the companies on this year's Inc. 5000 have figured out how to grow their businesses during the longest recession since the Great Depression," said Inc., president Bob LaPointe. "The 2010 Inc. 5000 showcases a particularly hardy group of entrepreneurs."

"Assisted Living is a growing market—communities need quality management software to streamline operations in order to focus on delivering the best, quality care and services to their residents," said Doug Fullaway, president and CEO of Vigilan. "Everyone at Vigilan truly cares about making products that will translate to a better life for seniors.  This recognition from Inc. reinforces the good work that we're doing."
