NYSC opens new sports club in Garnerville

New York Sports Clubs (NYSC), a leading owner and operator of health and fitness clubs in the tri-state area, announced today the opening of its NYSC Garnerville location in Rockland County.

The new 26,000 square-foot, multi-recreational facility, located at 20 West Ramapo Road, features a lap pool, group exercise and cycling studio, saunas in both the men's and women's locker rooms, kid's fitness program, baby-sitting and an extensive array of the latest cardiovascular and strength training equipment, including TRX suspension training. Treadmills, ellipticals and other cardio machines are equipped with personal entertainment systems so that members can enjoy TV or music while they exercise. The club's extensive group exercise schedule offers a variety of classes, including boot camp, total body conditioning and Zumba. Additionally, a dedicated personal training area creates a focused environment for personal trainers and their clients to train.

"NYSC Garnerville is our first location to open in over two years and we're excited to announce that we're opening 30 days earlier than scheduled due to the overwhelming response from the community during the two months of pre-sales," said Bob Giardina, CEO of New York Sports Clubs. "It's the first NYSC in Rockland County to offer so many exercise options under one roof including a swimming pool and kid's fitness program."
