Kaleida Health's Gates Vascular Institute installs Vantage Titan 3T MR system from Toshiba

Providing patient-friendly 3T MR imaging with outstanding image quality, Kaleida Health's Gates Vascular Institute (GVI) in Buffalo, N.Y., installed the Vantage Titan^TM 3T MR system from Toshiba America Medical Systems, Inc., the 1,400^th Vantage MR installation worldwide.

"The large bore and Pianissimo noise-reduction technology on Toshiba's Titan 3T help improve patient compliance, enabling clear, artifact-free images for more accurate patient diagnoses during all general and vascular imaging exams."

Titan 3T has a 71 cm open bore and allows feet-first imaging for most exams to help reduce claustrophobia. It is the quietest 3T MR system available, as Toshiba's exclusive Pianissimo™ technology reduces exam noise by up to 33 dB(A). GVI is also utilizing Toshiba's proprietary non-contrast imaging for some vascular exams, eliminating the use of potentially harmful contrast agents.
