Otolaryngologists to present newest specialty research in OTO EXPO

The 2013 Annual Meeting & OTO EXPOSM of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery Foundation (AAO-HNSF), the largest meeting of ear, nose, and throat doctors in the world, will convene September 29 - October 2, at the Vancouver Convention Centre in Vancouver, BC, Canada.

Featuring more than 89 miniseminars, 360 instructional courses, 321 oral presentations and 397 poster presentations across all areas of the specialty-from basic and translational science to clinical research and practice-the Annual Meeting is a unique opportunity for journalists to cover science and medical news. Reporters will have access to the latest research and clinical advances in the field of otolaryngology - head and neck surgery.

Otolaryngologists are specialty physicians and surgeons dedicated to diagnosing and treating disorders of the ear, nose, throat, and related structures of the head and neck. As many as 6,000 such specialists from the United States, Canada, the host country, and around the world attend to learn the latest research findings in patient care.

The scientific program and poster sessions will address medical disorders many of which are among the most common to all ages and both sexes. These include hearing loss, sleep disorders, allergies, ear infections, facial plastic and reconstructive surgery, voice disorders, sinusitis, head and neck cancer, pediatric ENT health issues, and other health concerns related to the structures of the head and neck.
