AACR to showcase latest breakthroughs in cancer research

The American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) will showcase newsworthy research on clinical trials, epidemiology, immunology, epigenetics, laboratory science, and translational medicine at its Annual Meeting, April 5-9.

"This meeting is the most important venue for hearing the latest breakthroughs in cancer research both in the laboratory and in the clinic," said AACR President Charles Sawyers, M.D., investigator at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute and chair of the Human Oncology and Pathogenesis Program at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.

The meeting will draw more than 18,000 scientists, clinicians, advocates, and others to discuss advances in the field of cancer science. Members of the media can register using this form.
