Bionow, a not for profit membership organisation for the biomedical / life-sciences industry, announces its annual BioCap Conference, which will take place at the Hilton Hotel, Manchester on the 29th September 2014.
BioCap is the only specialist life science investment and showcase conference in the North of England and is aimed at highlighting the wealth of life science investment opportunities.
The conference will bring together international investors, companies who are seeking finance and those who have a track record of raising finance. It will be hosted by Bionow, Baker Tilly and Weightmans LLP and is sponsored by Manchester Science Partnerships and Appleyard Lees.
The conference will develop relationships with potential partners from businesses, to allow further understanding of the funding landscape and show support for the North of England life science cluster. Jon Moulton, Managing Partner at Better Capital will be presenting the Keynote Address at the Conference.
The conference will feature sessions on Venture Capital and Angel Investment, Company Showcases, Alternative Funding Sources and Models and company pitches.
It will also feature Parallel Workshop sessions including Raising Finance, preparing your company for a transaction - PR and Communications and Ensuring Transaction Readiness - Maximising Value and Minimising Risk.
