Neighbors Health System, owner of Neighbors Emergency Center, announced today a strategic partnership with Siemens USA. Siemens will serve as the exclusive technology provider for imaging equipment in all new Neighbors Emergency Center facilities.
Bruce McVeigh, MS, MA, Chief Operating Officer of Neighbors Emergency Center said, "It is currently common practice for many ER facilities to purchase refurbished equipment. This contract with Siemens creates a standardized, state-of-the-art package of new radiology and imaging equipment for all of our Neighbors Emergency Centers as we strive to be a leader in the free-standing emergency center market."
The Neighbors Health System partnership with Siemens establishes a free-standing emergency center package of brand new CT, overhead X-ray, and ultrasound equipment for each new Neighbors Emergency Center facility. Neighbors will contract with Siemens for equipment as it opens centers in new Texas markets and new states.
The Neighbors Emergency Center free-standing emergency rooms have been voted the best ER in Baytown, TX and Pearland, TX and one of Houston's Top Workplaces.
Neighbors Emergency Center has plans to open eight new centers in 2015, including locations in Midland, Odessa, El Paso, and Texas City.
