Innovacyn, Inc. is excited to announce the success of initiatives, in partnership with Growers Alliance, to bring access to clean water, better quality healthcare, and education to poor farming communities in Kenya. Amy Kozsuch, Medical Affairs Consultant for Puracyn Plus, went to Kenya to aid in the endeavors and provide donations of Puracyn Plus Professional Formula.
"Innovacyn has a vision to improve the health of people world-wide," says Innovacyn CEO Bob Burlingame. "Amy's efforts in Kenya are a huge step toward bringing the best healthcare practices to the most marginalized people. We are thrilled to see palpable change and grateful for the partnership with Growers Alliance."
Amy engaged with local communities to help them farm organically, become self-sustaining, and integrate into larger farmers' co-ops. She also volunteered at the Joy Rescue Center which supports HIV positive orphans shunned by their families. Alongside Growers Alliance, Innovacyn also helped implement safe water well systems. Lastly, Innovacyn made donations to the Kijiji Dialysis Medical Center.
"In a place where clean water and proper health supplies are limited, it was an honor to serve on behalf of Innovacyn," says Amy. "I know we are making a difference and look forward to expanding the manners in which we can pay it forward as a company."
