iMotions partners with Shimmer to release NeuroLab Computer for biometric research

iMotions, a world leader in scalable Biometric Research solutions has partnered with Shimmer to release NeuroLab Computer, the latest ready-to-use solution available for research labs to conduct multimodal biometric research quickly and easily.

Custom designed by Shimmers experienced engineering team and co-developed with iMotions’ researchers, the NeuroLab Computer is among the most powerful computers commercially available in the market.

NeuroLab Computer meets the computational demands of biometric research in terms of speed and power and graphics capabilities. Features include: 10 built-in USB ports for multimodal research and sensor integrations, 8GB graphics and 16GB RAM.

iMotions currently integrates a number of Shimmers wireless sensors including Shimmer3 Galvanic Skin Response (GSR) sensors as part of its plug and play GSR Solution to enhance researcher’s investigation into skin conductivity or physiological arousal. This latest release from iMotions demonstrates the need for efficient, cutting-edge hardware capable of synchronizing multimodal biometric data combining software and hardware at a cost effective price.
