Tell us about the company and why you are attending Health GB 2018.
We are a Portuguese company who produce and supply Non-Active Medical Devices. We are here to present a new product that has been developed by our company and recently patented.
What is the product you are presenting today?
We have developed a surgical swab to be used in operation rooms worldwide. The problem with conventional gauze is that it’s a natural product made from cotton. This means it has the problem of linting during particular operations, which can contaminate the wound and cause sepsis. We are offering a product that has no linting but still has a body like gauze.
Who are you hoping to connect with at Health GB?
We are hoping to meet customers who will use our products, such as doctors and nurses, but also distributors.
