So, is everything healthcare NOW being called Root Cause Analysis?
I guess if you want to get to the bottom of an issue it's RCA...
But REAL RCA for Healthcare is discovering Human Errors, Mechanical Errors, SAVING LIVES! A Real RCA is supported with evidence and monitoried for TRENDING issues.. therefore producing Better HealthCare For the Patient. Where does fixing bill collecting issues and patient data saving lives? Probably in medication errors, but it's not the defintitive of Root Cause Analysis. This article suggest that patient data manipulation is going to provide quality healthcare. That's nice.
I like to see HC get to the human and latent roots of providing quality healthcare in a facility.
