Just listening to a type of music will not cause you or your kids to smoke marijuana.  Whatever happened to teaching our children to be responsible for their own decisions?

Now, people of a particular interest are certainly more likely to listen to media that discusses their particular interest.

If I'm a model car enthusiast I will certainly subscribe to magazines, forums and other literture regarding model cars.   But leaving the literature laying around my house is very unlikely to cause people to take up model cars as a hobby on a statistically significant enough basis to be deemed 'causation.'

But I can easily obscure the fact that most people who read model car magazines build model cars to insinuate that somehow the magazines cause people to start building model cars as a hobby.  Of course I'd have to use a lot baseless hype about how model cars are dangerous and can make your kids stupid and cleverly obfuscate what few facts I actually use.
