Who are these nurses in the ANA that agree with this bill? There is no way that this bill is the answer to our health care problems. I feel like I have been stabbed in the back by one of my own kind. I am a 3rd generation RN. I am proud of my career choice and it is an honor to take care of the sick.  But, President Obama you are sadly mistaken if you think I will do this job for any less money. I put my health and that of my family at risk every day from exposure to disease. I work weekends, I work holidays, I work days, I work nights. I am obligated to come to work even in the event of a disaster when the rest of the world is evacuating. Do not insult me by assuming I dont expect to be financially compensated accordingly for my efforts. We have the financial resources in the country to take care of the citizens OF THIS country. How much money do we spend on providing excellent health care to people who are in this country illegally? People who dont even pay taxes in this country! How about we work on providing Americas own citizens with health care first. When we get that taken care of, then we can worry about the rest of the world.
