If you need T3, WHICH WE ALL DO, get a script from the recalcitrant 'doctor' for Cytomel. But be optimistic; Armour or a similar product will be back after the first of the year, at least according to my compounding pharmacist - Degarmo's Compounding Pharmacy in Olympia WA.

Money is now more important than people. And the greed is spectacular.

You don't say where you live, but compounding pharmacies are pretty common, and there may be one in your area.

Also, most big chain stores DO have Armour, but unless you ask for the EXACT grain amount (or milligrams) that they have, they are instructed to say they don't have it. A lot of chain pharmacies in my area still have 180 mg, so I got as much as I could, and I'll grind them up and put them in capsules myself. At least my doctor is one of the good guys.

If you HAVE to take Synthroid, Judie, take Cytomel too, and drink LOTS of water. LOTS!!!

One last thing - $400 is astronomical - it sounds like a ripoff outfit.

THE BEST (non-local) COMPOUNDING PHARMACY I HAVE EVER USED (and I think they will help you) IS -  womensinternational dot com Good Luck!!!
