Surely, the human population can do enough calculations that growth is impossible and fatal at our rate!  Normally, species reproduce and grow their populations until resources deplete and there is a balance between prey and predators.  Humans don't have "natural" predators and we are living longer.  Our only predator is ourselves!  Why can't we humans, presumably the most intelligent of all mammals, logically control our reproduction?  If we do, then governments deliberately ADD people and globalise the problem of over-population.  They are adding $$ to their own pockets and leave the issue of survival to the next generation.
