This video shows the live launch of the new Vi-CELL BLU cell viability analyzer from Beckman Coulter Life Sciences. The Vi-CELL BLU enables faster analysis and processing and automates the Trypan Blue Dye Exclusion method for cell viability analysis.

The Vi-CELL BLU is 50% faster than its predecessor Vi-CELL XR in the FAST mode. It accelerates sample processing time by using a 24-position sample carousel or a 96 well plate for sample delivery. The analyzer features numerous enhancements based on customer inputs. These enhancements included in the Vi-CELL BLU are small sample size, high throughput, increased sample capacity, small laboratory footprint, data integrity tools, and lab compliance features. The Vi-CELL BLU analyzer offers a faster and easy-to-use option for monitoring cell growth and viability.
