The long-awaited return of Pittcon – one of the world’s foremost analytical chemistry conferences – is finally over as it makes its comeback in 2023. Taking place from March 18^th – 22^nd at the Pennsylvania Convention Centre in Philadelphia, Pittcon will once again be hosting a range of lectures, symposia, networking sessions, and short courses alongside its world-famous exposition where manufacturers will be showcasing the cutting-edge of laboratory equipment and systems.

The last two years have been difficult for everyone, and Pittcon was no exception. Pittcon 2020, held in Chicago in March 2020, was a success – though, regrettably, many international guests were no longer able to attend due to COVID-related travel restrictions.

As the pandemic wore on, it became clear that many events would not be able to take place in their usual form.

Now, however, with COVID-19 under control, Pittcon will be returning to its former glory in 2023 with the first in-person event in over two years. Face-to-Face Collaboration

Pittcon 2021’s range of online programming provided a much-needed opportunity for scientists and experts around the world to connect in the middle of an otherwise very isolated time. However, while the online event was a success, it is impossible to replicate the value of real-life, in-person communication for science.
