AMP's four-day event on the latest advances in clinical molecular diagnostics

The Association for Molecular Pathology (AMP) invites the media to follow its upcoming 2009 Annual Meeting and Exhibits and learn about the latest advances in clinical molecular diagnostics.

What: The four-day event will feature more than 100 corporate exhibits, as well as many cutting-edge lectures, workshops and plenary sessions. The keynote speaker is the distinguished recipient of the 2009 AMP Award for Excellence in Molecular Diagnostics, Kay E. Davies, Ph.D., of the University of Oxford. Additional presentation titles include:

  • Gene Patents: Current Environment
  • Response of Molecular Diagnostic Laboratories to Novel Influenza A Virus Infections
  • Genetics of Complex Pediatric Disorders: What Have We Learned
  • The Cancer Genome Atlas
  • Mutation Analysis in Leukemias
