Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation Music Downloads store launched

The Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation and Universal Music Canada, the country's leading music company, are pleased to announce the launch of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation Music Downloads store: where every download makes a difference.

The online music store is the first music downloads program in Canada that directly benefits the breast cancer cause with a portion of the proceeds from every song downloaded being contributed to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.

Colleen Fleming, CEO of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation - Central Office stated: "We are delighted to partner with Universal Music Canada to bring the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation Music Downloads program to the Canadian marketplace. Breast cancer is a disease that affects so many Canadians every day - what better way for people to enjoy the music that they love while supporting the Foundation's vision of creating a future without breast cancer."

"Universal Music Canada is honored to be working alongside the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation in opening this download store," commented Randy Lennox, President and CEO, Universal Music Canada. "Music touches the lives of everyone through a multitude of emotions and is at its most powerful when it's employed as an agent for change. It is our hope that this initiative lends strength to the larger ongoing challenge."
