Boston Software Systems™, the leader in workflow automation technology to the healthcare market, today announced that it is participating in the 2011 MUSE International Conference in Nashville, May 31-June 3 and will be sponsoring the Revenue Cycle track of presentations.
Boston Software Systems will be exhibiting in booth 408 of the Exhibit Center, where staff will be demonstrating how leading automation development technology, Boston WorkStation®, ensures successful automations against MEDITECH versions 5.6 and 6.0. These new versions of MEDITECH are challenging for most scripting tools, but Boston WorkStation reliably reads and reacts to MEDITECH screens regardless of screen size, position or resolution.
During the Revenue Cycle track of presentations, MEDITECH systems users will present a variety of case studies and demonstrate techniques for working in the MEDITECH environment to create and operate a successful revenue cycle.
Boston Software Systems executives, Technical Specialist Kim Bottcher and Vice President of Technical Services Thom C. Blackwell, will present the following topics related to the use of automation in the MEDITECH hospital:
Patient information gathered in the registration process forms the basis of care and revenue. Whether part of an EMR implementation or as a strategic move towards operational efficiency, more hospitals are automating part or all of their registration process.
Hospitals are finding they can improve revenue and efficiencies throughout the organization. During this session, Bottcher will explore the various ways to automate registrations, the workflows to consider during implementation, what to expect and the benefits to patients and staff.
During this session, Blackwell will teach participants how to train and manage the electronic employee: scripting. Much of what is covered applies to MAGIC, but there will also be a focus on providing practical tips for the C/S 5.6 and 6.0 environments.
Just about everybody has scripting systems, and the specter of manual data entry never sleeps. Blackwell will present what is necessary to expand knowledge of scripting MEDITECH to support Windows, websites, Java applications and even a few Citrix-published apps.
