    I often wondered if there was some sort of survival tool or imparative at work to stave of deep fears such as death itself, particularly as one ages, something to curtail constant worry for our offspring, or comfort mechanism protecting ones sanity from the likelihood of the oblivion ahead. How, or why else should  every tribe, society, or nation all invent a religion, aside from feebly attempting to answer our origin- then vigorously and violently protect it more so for where we are inevitably going than where we came from?
