Live endoscopy course, University College Hospital, 19-20 September
PENTAX Medical - experts in high definition endoscopy, is a premier sponsor of the latest London Live Endoscopy Course which is being held at University College Hospital, on 19th – 20th September 2013.
This is the 5th annual London Live Endoscopy event, which will be addressing wide-ranging diagnostic and interventional endoscopy, including ERCP, EUS, upper GI endoscopy and colonoscopy.
This year’s course includes the chance for peer-to-peer interaction during live cases which will be run across three clinical rooms in parallel. The two day course features an outstanding expert faculty, state-of-the-art lectures, breakout sessions and industry hands-on tutorials. The organisers have applied for 12 Royal College of Physicians CPD credits.
The course aims to encourage, challenge and educate all those aiming to deliver excellence in clinical practice, including consultants, endoscopy nursing staff and endoscopy trainees. Topics will include pancreaticobiliary, oesophagogastric and colorectal endoscopy.
Located in the Clinical Skills Room 1, at London Live, PENTAX Medical will be showcasing its wide range of innovative high definition endoscopic imaging devices and highlighting the very latest in state-of-the-art endoscopy.

The new Retroview colonoscope, with its unique 210° tip deflection for detection and treatment of polyps or lesions in hard-to-reach areas, will also be showcased for delegates to experience the ease of use of this pioneering equipment.
Delegates will also be able to see live demonstrations of the latest offering from PENTAX Medical - the MagniView endoscope, offering powerful magnification: HD+ and optical zoom technology. These brand new endoscopes deliver excellent imaging capabilities with i-scan, HD+ and magnification, as well as excellent driveability, comfort and control.
The EPK-i5000 video processor, with its high illumination, HD+ resolution and advanced ‘i-scan’ image processing technology, will also be on show to demonstrate the best value range from PENTAX Medical.
