Pharmaceutical manufacturing automation

American patients will greatly benefit from Indigo Pharmaceutical's expansion of pharmaceutical manufacturing in the US. Indigo is committed to offering pharmaceutical manufacturing services, including a 503b outsourced manufacturing facility specializing in sterile pharmaceuticals.

A vast quantity of medications are produced for delivery to physicians and healthcare facilities around the country, and these operations are subject to strict cGMP, GMP, GLP, and ISO standards.

The facility has been constructed to maintain an entirely isolated atmosphere to prevent human contact throughout pharmaceutical manufacturing. Every piece of equipment is automated and connected to the building management system.

Introducing the SteraMist Hybrid

The SteraMist Hybrid, a new iHP decontamination system, has been installed at Indigo Pharmaceutical's plant in response to the demand for automated disinfection and cost-effectiveness.

The SteraMist Hybrid combines the portability of the SteraMist Environment System with integrated facility disinfection. The Environment System generator is connected to permanent stainless steel ceiling applicators placed in any area via a centralized hub equipped with harting connectors.

Indigo deployed six permanently mounted stainless steel iHP applicators in key locations in four distinct ISO compounding rooms. Outside the facility's pharmaceutical manufacturing operations are two centralized hubs, each with three connections, for six connections.

By simply moving and connecting the portable SteraMist Environment System to these hubs, three full-room decontamination cycles can be started simultaneously.

By implementing an automatic disinfection nightly routine, Indigo Pharmaceuticals has ensured that the SteraMist Hybrid operates frequently to thoroughly clean the facility and adhere to strict regulations.

SteraMist continues to lead the way in innovation, creating cutting-edge iHP systems to satisfy customers' needs with automated disinfection. By introducing a varied product line intended to cover a range of needs, SteraMist has simplified its products and ensured the timely fulfillment of customer demands.
