Dead air boxes from AirClean® Systems offer a circulation-free environment ideal for DNA/RNA amplification and modification. The UVTect Microprocessor controller and a 254 nm UV light source for irradiation in between amplifications come included with every dead air box. When the sash is lifted, a safety interlock switch turns off the UV light to protect the operator. UV-reflective building materials and seamless design guarantee no damaging UV energy escapes the enclosure.
