The ProtoCOL 3 HDE is a small, automated powerhouse for inhibition zone measurement and colony counting. With a variety of software choices and an optional statistics package, users can customize and update the ProtoCOL 3 HDE to meet their laboratory’s requirements. The 'Plus' version of this system can be providied with a mounted P.C and monitor with the software pre-installed so you're ready to plug-in-and-play.
Accurate
ProtoCOL 3 HDE has a unique three-color lighting system that provides unsurpassed illumination for all colony and zone types. The system's high-resolution camera produces high-quality images, allowing users to perform inhibition zone measurement to an accuracy of +/-0.2mm.
Fast
Within a few seconds it is possible to measures zones on the plate or count all colonies on the plate, and users have the ability to quickly and easily make any further edits to the plate. The system is capable of analysing plates up to 100mm in diameter.
Traceable
ProtoCOL 3 HDE is compatible with one-dimensional barcode readers. The results can be automatically exported in Excel, PDF, or CSV format, and can be linked to a LIMS. The device is compatible with 21 CFR Part 11, including audit trails and user access levels, making it appropriate for any highly regulated microbiology laboratory.
