Peripheral Blood Mononuclear Cells (PBMCs) are a subset of leukocytes (or White Blood Cell, WBC). Leukocytes are essential members of the immune system that defend the body against disease. PBMCs are widely used in drug discovery and development, assay validation and development, and other immunology applications, among their many other uses.

This material should be handled as if it is capable of transmitting infectious agents. As such, BioIUVT encourages users to utilize universal precautions.
No diagnostic technique can ensure that the Hepatitis B virus, Hepatitis C virus, Human Immunodeficiency Virus, or other infectious agents are not present. As such, all blood products provided by BioIVT should be handled at Bio-safety Level 2 as suggested by the CDC/NIH manual “Biosafety in Microbiological and Biomedical Laboratories, from Potentially Infectious Human Serum or Blood Specimens.”
This product is only sold for research and, or manufacturing purposes. It is not to be used in humans or animals. Further manufacturing that could result in a finished product that contains viable leukocytes is prohibited. For in vitro use only.
The user is responsible for both the usage and disposal of the product, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
Viability of at least 70% and purity of at least 85% are confirmed via flow cytometry analysis.
