Key Features of Fc Receptor Proteins
High Purity
ACROBiosystems’ production team performs both SDS-PAGE and HPLC analyses to the Fc receptors to ensure that their product exhibits the highest level of purity. Users should recognize that it is essential to use a monomeric Fc receptor, as this type of receptor represents its natural state.
The formation of oligomers during the production of Fc receptors can result in an artificially-enhanced binding interaction as a result of the avidity effect. To avoid this type of effect from occurring, ACROBiosystems has established strict internal control standards that determine the monomer purity using HPLC testing. ACROBiosystems only releases batches that meet all monomer purity requirements.
Bioactivity Validated by SPR
The binding affinity between two molecules can be determined using various methods. However, evaluating the Fc receptor interaction is typically achieved by SPR.
This method preference can be attributed to the fact that traditional ELISA techniques are not appropriate for low-affinity receptors (such as CD16 and CD32). The ACROBiosystems’ Quality Control (QC) team utilizes the Biacore platform to test all Fc receptors against reference antibodies.
High Batch-to-Batch Consistency
ACROBiosystems routinely applies rigorous quality control measures to ensure that all Fc receptors exhibit consistent performance rates. Any batch variation among tested samples is negligible.
