DS Waters of America, Inc., a leader in home and office bottled water, water filtration and office coffee delivery service, today announced it has extended its current partnership with Susan G. Komen for the Cure® until January 30, 2016, extending the parties' prior commitment by an additional five years. The modified agreement also adds water filtration to the list of products associated with Komen for the Cure.
DS Waters was into its second year of a three year agreement with Komen that started in 2009 before extending the agreement for an additional five years. Under the agreement, DS Waters makes a $30.00 donation to Komen for every new customer who commits to one year of service under the Komen Budget Plan (bottled water delivery) or a Komen water filtration rental plan, with a minimum donation of $100,000 per year.
In an effort to heighten awareness around the campaign, the caps on the DS Waters 5-gallon returnable bottles are pink during the months of September and October. DS Waters also painted over twenty of their delivery vehicles pink which service customers on a daily basis in various cities throughout the country.
