AcroBiosystems has successfully used its FLAG technology, a set of multi-pass transmembrane protein creation platforms, to market its Claudin family proteins, which include Claudin 18.2, Claudin 18.1, Claudin 1, Claudin 6, Claudin 4, and Claudin 9. Recently, it has been discovered that the Claudin protein family contributes to oncogenesis and may influence the prognosis of cancer.
Preparing these full-length multi-pass transmembrane target antigens without sacrificing their original structure tends to be quite challenging. Yet, leveraging ACROBiosystems' technology, full-length Claudin family proteins can be characterized by high bioactivity and verified batch-to-batch consistency using ELISA, SPR, BLI, FACS, and other methods to advance innovative drug research and development efforts.
