CHO/Human GPRC5D Stable Cell Line FACS Analysis. The FACS assay demonstrates that the Anti-GPRC5D antibody binds specifically to the CHO/Human GPRC5D stable cell line (Fig. B). In contrast, non-transfected CHO cells were used as a negative control (Fig. A). The binding activity was assessed using the PE signal (QC tested).

The Anti-GPRC5D antibody (Human IgG4) captured on a Protein A chip can bind to FITC-labeled Human GPRC5D protein with Flag and His tags (Cat. No. GPD-HF2D7) with an affinity constant of 9.29 nM, as determined by SPR assay using a Biacore 8K system (routinely tested).

The Anti-GPRC5D antibody immobilized on a CM5 chip can bind to Cynomolgus GPRC5D with Flag and His tags (Cat. No. GPD-C52D3) with an affinity constant of 0.122 μM, as determined by SPR assay using a Biacore T200 system (QC tested).

Background
The G-protein coupled receptor family C group 5 member D (GPRC5D) is a 40 kDa protein induced by retinoic acid, characterized by seven transmembrane segments and a short N-terminal extracellular region. It is broadly expressed throughout the peripheral system. GPRC5D shows high expression levels in the pancreas, moderate levels in the kidney, small intestine, spleen, and testis, and low levels in the lung, colon, leukocytes, prostate, and thymus. It is not detectable in the brain, heart, liver, placenta, skeletal muscle, and ovary.
