Biodecontamination with MycoFog is a piezo-driven nebulizing device that runs on batteries. Fogger produces a hydrogen peroxide fog that biodecontaminates the incubator.

MycoFog is an invaluable tool for labs that must maintain a contaminant-free and clean environment. Labs that use equipment such as incubators, glove boxes, and anaerobic or hypoxic chambers for tissue and cell culture will find the device especially helpful.

Any lab that uses microbiological incubators or cell culture is a perfect fit for the MycoFog system.

Who benefits?

  • Academic and university laboratories
  • Labs in hospitals
  • Private research institutions

Key features

Safe and non-toxic

It uses a low-temperature hydrogen peroxide fog that does not leave any residue and is suitable for lab equipment.

Effective decontamination system

Efficient against the entire range of bacteria, fungi, viruses, and spores that are microbiological pollutants.

Easy to use

Just fill the incubator with the reagent, set the device inside, hit the start button, and leave.

Low cost

Accessories and add-ons

MycoFog Biodecontamination Reagent Pods (4 pods MFR-1) or (4 pods MFR-2)

The “Starter Kit” for MycoFog Biodecontamination (MF-SK-1, MF-SK-2, or MF-SK-3) includes one fog and either two reagent pods (18 or 25 ml) or one reagent bottle (45 ml).

The MycoFog “Prove-it-to-Yourself Kit” (MF-PitY-1, MF-PitY-2, OR MF-PitY-3) includes four biological indicators of Geobacillus stearothermophilus, two reagent pods (18 or 25 ml) or a reagent bottle (45 ml).

Incubators and closed workstations can be biodecontaminated using MycoFog Biodecontamination Reagents (MFR-1, MFR-2, OR MFR-3), a determined dose of 7.8% hydrogen peroxide. Incubators with 200 L or less (<200 L) are suitable for MFR-1, those with 200 L but less than 400 L (>200 <400 L) for MFR-2, and those with 400 L but less than 500 L (>400 <500 L) for MFR-3.
